Mini Baccarat

Play Baccarat For Real Money

A BIG hello from George, the Baccarat-Guru! I’m glad you could join me on my baccarat site! This time, I’m here to tell you all about mini baccarat. It can be just as fun and exciting as full baccarat, but without all the formality and high stakes that are associated with the traditional game. Mini baccarat is fast becoming popular around the world for just these reasons. And since baccarat is such an easy game to learn, there’s nothing intimidating about joining a game of mini baccarat. So sit back, and grab cool drink (if that’s what you like), and let the Guru take you down the path of baccarat knowledge.

First things first; the table used for mini baccarat is half the size of its big brother. Everything else about the table is basically the same, so if you want to find out about it, just go to my page on how to play baccarat. Now I wasn’t quite truthful there about everything being the same, because there’s only one worker at the table in this version of the game. You won’t see the two extra dealers to take care of the bets, and the Caller is always the one to deal. At full baccarat, the players each take turns dealing (being the banker). In mini baccarat, the Caller is the only one to handle the shoe. These differences make for much faster play, which can mean an extra 50 hands per hour. If you’re a casual gambler, and you decide to give this game a try without much research, you may just end up betting just as much here as you would at the high-stakes full-scale game. So beware of this younger cousin of baccarat; the “mini” in the name doesn’t refer to the amount of money you can lose!

Baccarat, being traditionally a game for the extremely wealthy, is starting to disappear from even the biggest casinos. In some, there is only a full baccarat game available in the evenings or on weekends. I think that there just aren’t enough of those “casino royalty” people around anymore to make the full version feasible. Also, mini baccarat is so attractive to the average casino patron because of its low betting limits that its popularity has just taken off in recent years. It won’t be long until the days of the tuxedo and evening-gown clad high rollers behind the velvet rope at the baccarat table will be a thing of the past. I’ll be sorry to see it go.

But back to the topic at hand; mini baccarat is a great game for those that don’t want to deal with lots of fancy rules, and difficult decisions about how to bet. There are only the 3 bets, and only one hand at time is played, so the confusion level is pretty low, and the ease of learning is pretty high. For a little more information on the ins and outs of baccarat, just go to my page on baccarat rules. So take it from the Guru; mini baccarat is where it’s at these days at the casinos. There’s a ton of fun to be had in this fast-paced “little brother” of baccarat. I hope I’ve been able to give you a good base of knowledge here on this page, because I want to send you on your way with as much information as possible and make your trip to the casino an enjoyable one. Good luck out there!
